We are thrilled to announce the appointment of Tony McClure as the new CEO of Orontide Group Limited! Tony succeeds Stewart Maddison, who is transitioning into retirement and will assume a non-executive director role on the company’s Board of Directors.
Tony McClure joins Orontide with over 30 years of extensive leadership experience in the mining services, oil and gas, construction, maintenance, fabrication, and service delivery sectors. His most recent position was WA Regional Manager at Guidera O’Connor, where he demonstrated a remarkable track record in driving revenue growth, operational excellence, and maintaining high safety standards.
Tony’s distinguished career includes senior roles at Guidera O’Connor, MACA Interquip, Mineral Resources, Compass Group, Matrix Offshore and Engineering, and Chevron Australia. He holds an Advanced Diploma of Management and has earned certifications in best practice management and financial awareness. Known for his motivational leadership and strategic planning skills, Tony has a proven ability to manage large teams and complex businesses, consistently delivering industry-leading results.
Stepping into his new role this week, Tony shared his excitement, saying, “Orontide has enormous potential as a significant engineering and preservation maintenance company in Western Australia. I look forward to building on the success that Orontide has achieved over the past 45 years and further strengthening the business.”
