1979 – Serge and Sophie Madrigali established Madco, a company providing maintenance and repair services to a wide range of industries. The first operation is based at Henderson, Western Australia.
2002 – A Madco facility opened in Kalgoorlie as a local service to those operating in the region and to complement the services provided to existing mining clients.
2002 - Madco Marine was formed to deliver specialist services to marine and defence industries.
2002 – Madco acquired Blast Works, later to be called AlphaBlast, as a company offering specialist services in UHP water jetting, abrasive blasting and surface protection.
2004 – Divisions of AlphaBlast and Madco Marine are established in Sydney to conduct work primarily for naval vessel refits at Garden Island.
2007 – Acquisition of the Pilbara-based mechanical engineering company Robil saw the business increase its expertise in the iron ore industry and its capacity.
2008 – Acquisition of the South-West mechanical engineering company Wovodich increased its expertise in the alumina industry and further increase its capacity.
2010 – With a focus on customer service the company consolidated its many brands under the one – ORONTIDE. The launching of ORONTIDE facilitated the company offering integrated services and leveraging its scale.
